Scoring in Tennis
One team serves for a whole game.  (If it is a doubles game, the same server serves the whole game)  The next game, the other team serves.  (In doubles it goes server #1 from team A for one game, then server #1 from team B for the next game, the next game is server #2 from team A, then the next game is server #2 from team B, etc., ...)

Scoring points:
no score = love
1st point = 15
2nd point = 30
3rd point = 40
*4th point = Game (win)

The score that is said or printed first is that of the serving team.  (i.e.. 15-30 means that the team with 15 is serving to the team with 30)

*In tennis, you must win by 2 points, so a game score of 40-40 is called deuce.  In a deuce situation, the team who wins the next point is said to have the "advantage".  This is like a one point up.  If this team wins the next point, they win the game.  However, if the team that has "advantage" loses the next point the game is back at deuce.  Two teams can battle for quite a long time to finish a deuce game if they alternate between having advantage and losing advantage.

1 Game = first team to win 6 games = 1 set first team to win 2 of 3 sets = 1 match
